We will assess and prescribe a suitable dose
We offer Wegovy, a weekly self-injected medicine. During your consultation we measure you weight and your height. Your BMI must be at least 30 or over. We will let you know this during the consultation.

About Wegovy Pens:

Wegovy is a clinically proven weight loss medication containing the active ingredient Semaglutide. In clinical trials, patients taking Wegovy lost 15% of their body weight in 68 weeks.

Wegovy acts on receptors in your brain to suppress your appetite, reduce cravings and slow the emptying of your stomach, so you consume fewer calories and lose more weight than with dieting alone.

It also reduces your biological ‘set point’ - the point at which your body fights to maintain a certain weight - meaning that you can lose weight for longer without hitting a plateau. We recommend pairing medication with diet and exercise changes to help you keep the weight off long term.

Rigorous clinical trials have established that Wegovy is non-addictive and suitable for long-term use.
